Sussex Police are appealing for public assistance following a knife-point robbery at East Grinstead Food and Wine on London Road. The incident occurred shortly before 9am on Saturday, 27 July.
Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a local store where a man threatened a staff member before fleeing with a small quantity of tobacco and alcohol. The incident occurred on the 27th July 2024, and while the shopkeeper was understandably shaken by the experience, they did not suffer any physical harm.
According to reports, the suspect entered the store and issued threats to the staff member before making off with the stolen items.
The police are now seeking to speak with an individual they believe may have crucial information about the incident. Although no image of the suspect is currently available to the public, authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or who has relevant information to come forward.
The police are asking members of the public with any information related to the incident to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting serial number 380 of 27/07.
