Police in Worthing are appealing to the public to help identify a man who stepped forward to assist an officer during an incident on Clifton Road late on December 23.
At approximately 11:30 pm, the officer was detaining a male when a member of the public came forward to offer their assistance. Sussex Police are keen to identify this individual to express their gratitude for their support in what could have been a challenging situation.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said:
“The actions of this individual were greatly appreciated, and we would like to personally thank them for stepping forward to help our officer.”
