Kent Police have launched an appeal for witnesses, dashcam, and CCTV footage following a burglary at a rural property near Ashford, during which a large quantity of power tools and bikes were stolen.
The theft occurred sometime between 5pm on Thursday, 31 July and 7am the following morning on Old Surrenden Manor Road, a rural route between Bethersden and Chilmington Green.
According to officers, the offenders damaged a boundary hedge to gain access to a storage facility outside a residential property. The suspects then made off with numerous high-value items, including bikes and power tools.

Investigators are urging anyone who travelled along the following routes between 9pm and 11pm on the evening of the burglary to check their dashcams for suspicious activity:
- Old Surrenden Manor Road
- Kiln Lane
- A28 Ashford Road
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
“We’re keen to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious or who has dashcam footage from the area during the relevant times. Even the smallest detail could be vital to the investigation.”
