Police in Bromley are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing 73-year-old man named John, who was last seen earlier today in Orpington.
John was last spotted at 9am on Sunday, 27 July, and there are growing concerns for his welfare. Officers from the Metropolitan Police South Area (Bromley) have launched a missing persons investigation and released a CCTV image of John, captured shortly before his disappearance.
Description
John is described as:
- 73 years old
- Wearing a white T-shirt, navy bomber jacket, black jeans, and navy crocs
- Seen in the CCTV image wearing glasses and a light blue T-shirt with a logo/design
Police have stated they are “very concerned” for John’s wellbeing and are urging anyone who may have seen him to come forward immediately.
Public Appeal
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service – Bromley said:
“#MISSING | John – 73 YRS old is missing from Orpington. He was last seen at 0900 today wearing a white T-shirt, navy bomber jacket, black jeans and navy crocs as shown below. We are concerned for him. If you see him, please call 999 with ref 01/7787499/25.”
The image released by police shows John standing in what appears to be a building entrance or lobby area, and he may still be in the Orpington or wider Bromley area.
