Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify following an assault on an 80-year-old pensioner in a supermarket in Forbes Road, Faversham.
The incident occurred at around 5.45pm on Friday, February 28, when the elderly man, who was making a purchase in the store, attempted to assist staff members by blocking the path of a suspected shoplifter.
It is alleged that in response, the suspect pushed the pensioner to the ground, causing him to suffer a head injury.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers have conducted extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage, and have now released an image of a man who may have information crucial to their investigation.

Ongoing Investigation
Authorities are continuing their efforts to identify and locate the suspect and are encouraging members of the public to come forward if they were in the area at the time of the assault.
