Police name Driver in freak Micheldever Collision

A driver who died in a freak car crash after a deer jumped in front of her car has been named as a Basingstoke Nurse. The popular 24 year old Ivory Lapitan, was killed after her car hit a deer when it ran in front of her Peugeot 306. Her vehicle stuck the deer and the car crashed into a tree on the A33 near Micheldever early yesterday morning. Emergency services were alerted by a shocked passing motorist who was behind the woman just after 6.30am.
