A rape investigation is underway after a woman reported being attacked at Edenbridge Cemetery, off Church Street, on Saturday, November 9.
The victim was visiting the cemetery between 9 pm and 9:30 pm when a man allegedly physically and sexually assaulted her. Police say the suspect is described as tall, of slim build, and wearing a coat that may have featured a fur hood.
The incident was reported to authorities on Tuesday, November 12, prompting an investigation to establish the full circumstances.
