Northumbria Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man involved in a disturbing upskirting incident that targeted a 12-year-old girl in the Masefield Drive area on Thursday, August 29.
The incident occurred between 8:45 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. when the suspect approached two young girls, lifted one of their dresses, and took a photograph before fleeing the scene. The girl was left shaken by the encounter, which was immediately reported to the police.
Since the report, Northumbria Police have been conducting extensive investigations, including a thorough review of CCTV footage. Today, police released an image of a man they believe could have critical information about the incident. He was seen in the area around the time of the assault.
