South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a collision in the Parson Cross area involving a young boy and an electrically assisted mountain bike.
At 9.58pm on Saturday, June 15, emergency services responded to Lindsay Avenue following reports of an electric mountain bike colliding with a 6-year-old child on a footpath. The young boy sustained injuries that are believed to be life-threatening or life-altering and has since been discharged from the hospital.
The rider of the electric mountain bike initially stopped at the scene but left without providing any details. Authorities are urging the rider to come forward and assist with the investigation.
