Police Charge Two Over Croydon Robberies

Two men have been charged in connection with a series of robberies in Croydon where victims were threatened with a firearm. Kimarni Folkes – 20 of Crown Lane, SW16 and Decordeva Dixon – 22 of Carew Street, SE5 have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. They will appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, 18 May). Both men were arrested by detectives from Croydon CID on Wednesday, 16 May. The robberies were investigated under Operation Amay.
