A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an attack at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend.
A significant police presence remains in the area tonight after officers were called to the place of worship just after 8 pm. Two people were injured during the incident, although police report that their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

An air ambulance landed on playing fields near the Gurdwara on Saddington Street to provide medical assistance.
A cordon has been established in both nearby Trinity Road and Khalsa Avenue. Officers have confirmed they are not looking for any other suspects in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 8:10 pm on Thursday, July 11, to a report of a disturbance at a Gurdwara on Saddington Street in Gravesend. It was reported that two people had sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and are being treated locally. A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but remain on scene while enquiries are ongoing.”
