Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving an electric scooter in Tunbridge Wells that has left a woman in critical condition.
Incident Details
Emergency services were called at 7:44 PM on Sunday, February 16, 2025, following reports that a woman had fallen from her e-scooter in Eastlands Road, near the junction with Waterdown Road.
The woman, who is in her 40s, sustained a serious head injury and was transported by paramedics to a London hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.
Police Investigation and Appeal
Kent Police are conducting an investigation and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the e-scooter before the collision.
A police spokesperson stated:
“We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw the woman riding her e-scooter before the incident or may have captured footage on dashcams or CCTV.”
