Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was seriously injured in a suspected assault in Rochester over the weekend.
The victim, who sustained a head injury, was reportedly in the High Street area sometime between 8pm on Friday, 11 April and 3am on Saturday, 12 April 2025. He remains in hospital as officers continue efforts to determine the circumstances and exact location of the incident.
Investigating officer PC Evie Cousins issued a public appeal:
“We are urging anybody who was in Rochester during the evening of Friday 11 April and into the early hours of Saturday 12 April, and saw a man being assaulted, to call our appeal line.
“Motorists with dashcam footage and residents with private CCTV systems are also asked to check for any relevant material and come forward if they can assist with our investigation.”
