Police are appealing for witnesses following a tragic road traffic collision involving a pedestrian in Bradford. The incident occurred on Hamm Strasse near the junction with Manningham Lane at around 4.37pm on Saturday, November 4.
A 22-year-old female pedestrian was involved in a collision with a blue BMW 320D M sport. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital, but sadly, she passed away shortly after.
In response to the incident, road closures were implemented in the vicinity to facilitate the collision investigation work conducted by the Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET).
The male driver of the BMW was promptly arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. The MCET continues to investigate this serious collision, and Detective Sergeant Mick Kilburn urges anyone who witnessed the incident or possesses footage of the collision or the BMW prior to it to come forward.
