Hertsmere Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was discovered unconscious with serious injuries in Potters Bar in the early hours of Sunday, March 9.
Emergency services were called to St John’s Close at around 1am after the man, who is in his 20s, was found unresponsive in the road. It was determined that he had sustained injuries to his lower body.
He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detective Inspector Michael Ball of the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit said:
“I am appealing to the public for any information they may have as to why this man has been found unconscious. Extensive enquiries have been carried out and we hope that the public can assist us in investigating this matter, and how he came to be injured.”
Officers are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
