Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was reportedly sexually harassed in Burnham-on-Sea last Friday. The incident occurred on August 16th at approximately 3.50pm behind properties on Marine Drive, close to Willis Court.
Authorities are searching for a man described as Asian, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s. The suspect has a distinctive mole on his face, dark hair, and some facial hair, but not a full beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue top, possibly a polo shirt.
The man was seen driving a small, dark-coloured Hyundai, thought to be an older model. The vehicle had a car seat for a young child positioned on the driver’s side in the back seat.
Police have emphasized that this appears to be an isolated incident, with no other reports of similar behaviour in the area. However, they are treating the matter seriously and are eager to speak with anyone who may have relevant information.
