Police appeal following Fatal Enfield Collision
Detectives investigating a fatal collision in Enfield are appealing for information and witnesses.ice were called at 08:25hrs on Friday, 4 May to reports of a road traffic collision on the North Circular, near Great Cambridge Roundabout, N18. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a car in collision with a motorbike. The motorcyclist, aged in his 50s, was treated at the scene by emergency services. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 08:57hrs. His next-of-kin have been informed. A post-mortem and formal identification will take place in due course. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries. The 17-year-old passenger of the car was arrested on suspicion of opening a door to danger. He has been taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody. Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit [SCIU] investigate. Detective Constable Amy Trencher, the investigating officer, said: “There are still witnesses who have not yet come forward that we would very much like to speak to. If you have any information; no matter how small, please do contact us.
