Police appeal after Woman is Grabbed whilst walking alone in Andover

Officers from Hampshire Police investigating an attempted sexual assault in Andover are appealing for witnesses. On Thursday, 23 November, a 34-year-old woman reported that she was grabbed from behind by a man as she walked through the nature reserve in Rooksbury, near Mill Lake. It happened between 4.50pm and 5.10pm. Fortunately she was able to get away, but she did suffer minor injuries. Officers are conducting enquiries in the area and extra patrols are being carried out to offer reassurance to those in the neighbourhood. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area around this time to contact us if they witnessed what happened or if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
