Kent Police have launched an appeal for information following multiple reports of inappropriate behaviour involving a man in and around parks in Maidstone.
Between March 9 and April 16, officers received three reports of a man behaving suspiciously, including allegations that he followed a woman and a teenage boy in Mote Park, and another woman in Penenden Heath Road.
Man Detained in Ongoing Investigation
On April 4, a man in his 20s was detained in connection with similar offences reported in Maidstone town centre. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation.
Witnesses and CCTV Sought
Kent Police are now urging any witnesses or potential victims who have not yet come forward to do so.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have been followed or witnessed suspicious behaviour in the Mote Park or Penenden Heath Road areas to contact us,” said a police spokesperson.
Residents with private CCTV and drivers with dashcam footage from the affected areas during the relevant dates are also being asked to review their footage.
