A person has tragically died following a medical incident in Sidcup.
Emergency services were called to Jenner Close, believed to be within the Morrisons car park, yesterday (July 29) at around 4.55pm.
Paramedics arrived on the scene within five minutes of the call.
Despite the swift response, the patient was treated but sadly died at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that the death was due to a medical incident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.55pm on Monday, 29 July, to reports of a medical incident in Jenner Close, Sidcup.
"We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and paramedics in fast response cars.
"The first of our crews arrived in five minutes.
"Our crews treated a patient at the scene. Sadly, the patient died at the scene."
Further details regarding the identity of the deceased or the nature of the medical incident have not been released at this time.
