Performances from Fireman Sam and Swashbuckle at Victorious Festival
Victorious Festival continues to be one of the best value, family friendly music festivals in the UK with particularly low ticket prices for children with 5-15 year old tickets costing £7 a day and Under 5 years able to join in the fun for just £1. Family is at the heart of Victorious Festival with its own dedicated Kids Arena where all activities and attractions are included in the ticket price. The Kids Arena stage is set to be even bigger with headline performances from Fireman Sam and Swashbuckle characters Cook and Line. Just to add to the occasion children can meet and greet their favourites with a special guest appearance from The Gruffalo and the popular Bolinja princesses. Brand new for this year, we are thrilled to introduce Happy’s Circus! By day be mesmerised by the traditional circus shows featuring Acrobats, Aerialists, speciality acts Rolla-Rolla and Sword Balancing plus loads of Magic performed by Happy’s Circus! Perfect fun for the whole family! There will also be circus skills sessions throughout the day. Calling all mini Monet’s- there is plenty to get stuck into at Victorious Festival with Bella Crafts hosting a creation station and Aspex Gallery presenting print screen workshops. Head to our Beach to build the biggest sandcastle or help to create a mural with James Waterfield at our Art Wall. Do you have a mini disco diva or rock star in the making? Let them loose at the Ready to Rock School where they can learn to play an instrument, sing-a-long to their favourite songs at Kiddi-oki or just show off some moves at Ickle Bambino Baby Raves. Canoe Lake Leisure will help unleash any inner Andy Murrays or Serena Williams with their tennis courts and Little Kickers will be having fun on the field with their football coaching sessions. Mountbatten Park Leisure will be bringing their wondrous Water Walkers for those who prefer to do things with a splash! Get theatrical with New Theatre Royal and Filskit Theatre can’t wait to bring the beach to you through magical, interactive projection, young explorers and their families can experience the joys of the beach through exciting technology and shadow work! Mary Rose Museum will be bringing history back to life with activities such as dress up like a Tudor, whack a ships rat and have a go archery.
