Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious car crash in Northfleet this afternoon after reports of a person trapped inside a vehicle.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called at 3:17pm to Council Avenue, where a car had crashed under unknown circumstances. Four fire engines were dispatched to the incident.
Firefighters worked quickly to safely extricate one casualty from the vehicle before handing them over to paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb). No further details have been released about the person’s condition.
The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time, and an investigation is likely to follow.
