Officers are seeking witnesses to a report of concern for the welfare of a paraglider in Swanley

At 6.48pm on Monday 3 June 2024, emergency call handlers received a report of concern for the welfare of a paraglider who may have lost control above the Wested Lane area.

Officers are yet to locate a pilot and remain at the scene.

Superintendent Nick Sparkes said:

‘Officers are looking to confirm if the pilot landed safely unaware of the concern for their safety, or if the public saw anything to aid emergency services.’

Anyone with information is urged to call 999, quoting reference 03-1212.
