Officers in Sussex have arrested three men as part of an ongoing murder investigation in Emsworth.
At 11:10 a.m. on Saturday (July 23), police were called after a 47-year-old man was discovered seriously injured on land along Marlpit Lane.
He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, where he died on Monday (July 25). Specialist officers are assisting his next of kin.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death were deemed suspicious by detectives, and an investigation was launched.
Two men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday (July 27). They are still being held at this time.

Detectives want to speak with anyone who witnessed any unusual or suspicious behaviour near Marlpit Lane between Friday evening (July 22) and Saturday morning (July 23).
