Crime scene in place as police investigate serious assault on Plashet Grove
A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after reportedly being kidnapped and stabbed in Newham, east London.

Stabbing and Kidnap Allegation
Metropolitan Police were called at 12.08am on Friday, 6 June 2025, to Plashet Grove, Newham, following reports that a man had been kidnapped and assaulted in the back of a car.
The victim was found with serious injuries, but police have confirmed they are not life-threatening or life-changing.
He remains in hospital receiving treatment.
Crime Scene and Investigation
A crime scene is currently in place on Plashet Grove while officers continue to examine the area and carry out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
At this stage, no arrests have been made.
Police Appeal
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
