The London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed they were called at 2.38pm following reports of a crash in the Croydon suburb.
A spokesperson for LAS said:
“We were called at 2.38pm today (11 June) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Field Way and Lodge Lane, New Addington.
We sent resources including ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene.
We treated one patient for a chest and arm injury and took them to hospital.”
The extent of the injuries has not been classified as life-threatening at this time. Police have not yet issued a public update regarding the cause of the crash or whether any arrests were made.
