Man Discovered at 12:10am on Modbury Avenue
Just after midnight, patrol officers stumbled upon the man lying motionless on Modbury Avenue, near Red Hill Way. Despite frantic CPR attempts and rapid response from East Midlands Ambulance Service, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Arrests Yet, Police Keep Tight Grip on Scene
Detectives are sealed off the area, carrying out thorough enquiries. No suspects have been arrested so far, but officers remain in the neighbourhood to reassure residents and push the probe forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Tim Lindley from the major crime team urged:

“The assault likely took place in a residential spot. Check your doorbell or CCTV footage—and if you were driving with a dashcam nearby, get in touch.”
