Two Men Arrested on Suspicion of Murder Following Death in Hollam Road
A murder investigation is underway after a woman in her 40s was found dead at a residential address in Hollam Road, Portsmouth.
Emergency services were called to the property in the early hours of Saturday, 21 June, where the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have confirmed they are treating the death as suspicious.
Two Men in Custody
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of the investigation:
- A 42-year-old man from Southsea
- A 39-year-old man from Gosport
Both suspects remain in police custody as enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
Ongoing Investigation
“We are working to determine the events that led to this woman’s death. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course and officers are supporting the woman’s next of kin.”
Local residents may notice an increased police presence in the area while forensic teams continue their work.
