A murder investigation has been launched after a 22-year-old man died in hospital following a stabbing on Hanworth Road in Hounslow on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called at 2.21pmĀ on Sunday, 22 June, to reports of a stabbing near the junction with High Street, where they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers were joined at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic practitioner, and Thames Valley Air Ambulance support.
The victim was treated at the scene and then rushed to a London major trauma centre, where he sadly died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed, and formal identification is expected to take place in due course.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
āWe were called this evening at 2.22pm to reports of a stabbing in Hanworth Road, Hounslow. We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.ā
No arrests have yet been made, and the Metropolitan Police have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing. A large crime scene remains in place, and bus routes in the area remain on diversion as detectives continue their investigation.

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
