Major UK supermarkets have rolled out huge vegetable discounts just in time for the Easter weekend, with Morrisons, Asda, and Aldi all offering staple produce for as little as 8p—a welcome move for families feeling the squeeze from rising energy bills and council tax hikes this April.
From potatoes to parsnips, shoppers will be able to cook up a traditional roast dinner without breaking the bank, thanks to these heavily discounted seasonal favourites.
Asda: No Membership Needed for Bargain Veg
From April 15 to April 21, Asda has reduced five key vegetable lines to just 8p each, with no loyalty card required—available in-store and online while stocks last.
Asda’s discounted veg includes:
- ASDA Tender & Crunchy Broccoli (360g) – now 8p
- ASDA Crunchy & Sweet Carrots (1kg) – now 8p
- JUST ESSENTIALS White Potatoes (2kg) – now 8p
- ASDA British Swede (each) – now 8p
- ASDA Sweet & Earthy Parsnips (500g) – now 8p
The supermarket says the Rollback is aimed at helping families cover the big Easter weekend shop amid the cost of living crisis.
Aldi: ‘Easter Super Six’ Savings
Aldi is running its ‘Easter Super Six’ veg promotion from April 15 to 19 (until April 20 in Scotland), slashing prices on popular produce.
