A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Maple Close, Mitcham.
Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance, were called to the scene shortly before 7.25pm on Monday, April 28. The victim was treated on site before being transported by road to a major trauma centre in London.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
“We were called at 7.24pm to reports of a stabbing in Maple Close, Mitcham.
We sent multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, fast response paramedics, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance. The first of our crews arrived in under a minute.
Our teams treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.
