After going missing in south London, a student nurse was discovered’safe and well’ in Hampshire.
The Metropolitan Police have reported that missing student nurse Owami Davies has been found safe and well’ in Hampshire, nearly eight weeks after she went missing in south London.
Police confirmed the 24-year-old from Grays, Essex, had been found following a series of public appeals to help find her.
This is clearly the outcome we hoped for the family of missing lady Owami Davies,” Met police said in a statement.
She was discovered outside of London in the county of Hampshire, and she is currently in the care of specialist officers from my team, and I can confidently say she is safe and well.
“My officers have been searching for Owami Davies around the clock, following thousands of lines of inquiry.”
“However, I’d like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance in this case.”
In collaboration with my officers, we have worked tirelessly with Essex Police to assist in the search for Owami,” the statement continued.
