Police have confirmed that the man reported missing from Ramsgate earlier this evening has been safely located.

The earlier public appeal for assistance in finding the individual has now been withdrawn following confirmation of his safe recovery.

Authorities have thanked the public and media for their support during the appeal and are now requesting that any related images and posts be removed from websites and social media platforms to respect the individual’s privacy.

A police spokesperson said: “We are pleased to confirm that the missing person has been found safe and well. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal. No further information has been released at this time.
