PC Saif Iqbal, a serving officer with the Metropolitan Police, is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on June 26, facing seven counts of sexual assault.
The charges stem from incidents involving two women and occurred between October 2020 and November 2021. Notably, both victims are fellow police officers.
PC Iqbal, who is attached to the North West Command Unit, faces allegations related to his conduct while both on and off duty. As the legal proceedings unfold, he remains suspended from active duty pending the court’s decision.
