Marks & Spencer has issued an urgent recall of four chicken products sold in its stores due to potential health risks, urging customers not to consume them. The retailer has advised customers who have purchased these items to return them to stores immediately.

While the ‘use by’ dates for these products has passed, Marks & Spencer has cautioned that customers may have frozen them. Therefore, those who have these items in their freezers are urged to check for them.
In a statement, Marks & Spencer emphasized its commitment to customer safety, stating, “Customer safety is of paramount importance to Marks & Spencer, and we take all issues regarding the production of our foods extremely seriously.
The retailer clarified that the recall is a precautionary measure due to a low microbiological risk associated with the affected products. It reassured customers that no products currently on sale are affected.
Customers who have purchased these recalled products are advised to return them to their nearest Marks & Spencer store for a full refund. Those in possession of these items in their freezers are instructed not to consume them and to return them to stores as well.
