A man’s body was discovered today in Abbey Wood, prompting a response from the police and emergency medical services.
Police were alerted to the incident at Lesnes Park at 12:43 pm on April 22, with the London Ambulance Service joining the police at the scene.
Upon arrival, responders found an unresponsive man in his 40s. Despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The spokesperson continued, “The next of kin has been notified. The death is being treated as unexpected but is not being treated as suspicious.”
