A major police manhunt is underway after a dangerous prisoner with links to West London escaped from an open jail more than two months ago.
Brian Odour, 34, fled HMP Springhill in Buckinghamshire on 25 March 2025 and has since been spotted in the Hammersmith and Fulham area.
Odour was serving a 15-year sentence, handed down in 2018, for possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Police warn he may pose a serious risk to the public and should not be approached under any circumstances.

Public Appeal
Police Staff Investigator Claire Busby, of the Thames Valley Police Prison Crime Team, issued a public warning:
“We are appealing for the help of the public to trace Brian Odour.
If you see Odour, do not approach him — call 999 immediately.”
Officers continue to pursue multiple lines of enquiry, including CCTV analysis and local intelligence, and are working closely with the Metropolitan Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary due to Odour’s wide-ranging connections.
