A 24-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing on Lewisham High Street near Lewis Grove. The incident occurred around 10:25 PM on Wednesday, October 16.
Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended the scene, where they found the victim with stab wounds. He was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment, though his current condition is unknown.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 10:25 PM on Wednesday, 16 October, to reports of a man stabbed on Lewisham High Street. Officers attended, and the 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. A crime scene is in place, and a 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.”
