A man in his 40s was seriously assaulted at a Swindon Premier store, sparking a major police response and three arrests.
Violent Attack at Penhill Store
The brutal incident unfolded just before 4pm on Sunday (28 September) at the Premier Shopshop on Alton Close, Penhill. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of the assault.
The victim was injured badly enough to require hospital treatment, though police say his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Three Arrested, One Remains on Bail
Police arrested three suspects linked to the attack. Two have now been released with no further action. A 34-year-old man remains on bail, held on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The premises were sealed off for hours with a crime scene in place while investigators gathered evidence.
