A 24-year-old man has been safely arrested after climbing onto a window ledge during a rooftop incident on Broomdashers Road in Crawley.
The situation unfolded on the morning of Tuesday, 20 May, as Sussex Police were executing a warrant at a property. In an apparent attempt to evade arrest, the man climbed onto a ledge, prompting an emergency response.
To ensure public safety, officers swiftly implemented a road closure and safety cordon while specially trained negotiators engaged with the man.
Safe Resolution
Following a period of negotiation, the man was safely brought down and taken into custody without injury.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said:
