POLICE PROBE Man Hurt After Police Car Hits Pedestrian on Blue-Light Dash in Birmingham

A man in his 30s was injured after being struck by a police vehicle rushing to an emergency on Katie Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, just before 8pm on Friday.

Police Respond to Incident on Blue Lights

West Midlands Police confirmed the crash happened while the police car was responding with blue lights flashing. The man was promptly taken to hospital for treatment following the collision.

Investigation Underway

As standard, the force’s Professional Standards Department has been alerted to look into the incident further.
