A 29-year-old man was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Monday morning following an assault in Coverton Road, Tooting.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 1.19am after receiving reports of a violent incident. Metropolitan Police officers and paramedics from London Ambulance Service attended, finding the victim with injuries that, while serious, have since been confirmed as not life-threatening.
Investigation Underway
A crime scene remains in place as forensic officers carry out detailed investigations. At this stage, no arrests have been made, and police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Officers were called to reports of an assault in Coverton Road, Tooting, at 01:19hrs on Monday, 17 February. A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are confirmed not to be life-threatening.”

Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the attack to come forward.
