A 23-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences, including threats to kill, a firearms-related offence, and robbery, following a Thames Valley Police investigation.
Tyler Jay Little, of Reynolds Way, Abingdon, was formally charged on Friday, March 7, 2025, with the following offences:
- Two counts of theft from a shop
- Possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence
- Breach of police bail conditions
- Bomb hoax
- Threats to kill
- Robbery
Timeline of Incidents
The charges relate to a robbery in Abingdon in July 2024, thefts in Wantage in February 2025, and a serious firearms-related incident in Goodbody Close, Faringdon, on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Arrest and Armed Police Deployment
Thames Valley Police confirmed that armed officers attended a property in Goodbody Close, Faringdon, at 2:23 am on March 6, to make an arrest attempt in relation to a firearms offence.
A 23-year-old man from Abingdon was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and theft.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson stated:
“We understand this incident may have caused concern, but we believe there is no wider threat to the public. Officers remain in the area for reassurance, and we encourage anyone with concerns to speak with our neighbourhood teams.”

Tyler Jay Little is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, March 7, 2025.
