Kent Police Rural Task Force, in collaboration with Thanet officers, have charged an adult male with two poaching offences following an operation in Birchington.

- Operation: The arrest was part of Operation Galileo, targeting illegal hunting and poaching activities in rural areas.
- Seized Items: Police confiscated the suspect’s vehicle, a thermal monocular, and three dead hares as evidence.

The male was formally charged with hunting offences and remains under investigation.
