A 23-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 25-year-old mother, who died after being allegedly rammed off her e-bike in a hit-and-run incident.
Keaton Muldoon, of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 6 December.
The Incident
The victim, Alana Armstrong, was riding her e-bike along a country lane in Derbyshire on Tuesday, 26 November, when she was reportedly struck by a 4×4 vehicle. The collision caused catastrophic injuries, and despite emergency services’ efforts, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
Investigation and Charges
Muldoon was arrested following the incident and charged with murder. Police have described the hit-and-run as a deliberate act and are continuing their investigation.
