A suspect has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a terrifying fire in england/england/enfield/”>enfield/”>Enfield that sent three children to hospital.
Early Morning Blaze Devastates Maybury Close Flat
The London Fire Brigade rushed to Maybury Close at 5.19am on September 22 after reports of a fire in a flat block.
The second floor and roof were badly damaged in the blaze. Miraculously, aside from the children treated for smoke inhalation, no other injuries were reported.
Met Police Launch Full Investigation
The Metropolitan Police teamed up with firefighters to probe the cause of the fire. Their investigation quickly led to a suspect: 33-year-old Nathaniel Dwyer-White from Edmonton.
Multiple Charges Including Attempted Murder
On September 24, Dwyer-White was hit with a string of charges including attempted murder, arson with intent to endanger life, actual bodily harm, stalking, and sending threatening communications.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (September 25).
