A 33-year-old man has been charged with 30 sexual offences following a long-running police investigation into allegations spanning more than a decade.
Jake Hardstaff, of no fixed address in the Boston area, has been charged in connection with a series of serious sexual offences alleged to have occurred between June 2008 and June 2024.
The charges include:
- 3 counts of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity
- 6 counts of rape of a girl under 13
- 5 counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration
- 7 counts of raping a woman aged 16 or over
- 7 counts of sexual assault on a female
- 1 count of causing a female aged 13 or over to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity
- 1 count of engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate relationship
Hardstaff is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 16 May 2025.
A police spokesperson confirmed that multiple victims have come forward over the years, resulting in a complex and detailed investigation.
The case is expected to proceed to the Crown Court due to the serious nature of the allegations.
