A man has been charged following a string of burglaries across Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, and Bromley, in a case police say involved high-value thefts and forced entries.
Frederic Webb, 39, of Hitchen Hatch Lane, Sevenoaks, was arrested on Thursday 10 April by Kent Police investigators probing three break-ins reported between 28 March and 7 April 2025 in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.
In each case, it is alleged the burglar smashed windows or patio doors to gain entry and stole jewellery, silverware, watches, and cash. Police say the incidents bear strong similarities to a fourth burglary in Bromley that occurred on 17 January this year.
Following a coordinated investigation, detectives linked the offences and made an arrest last week.
Webb has now been charged with burglary and has been remanded in custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on 9 May 2025.
