A man has been charged with attempted murder following a firearms discharge in Bradford earlier this month, police have confirmed.
Detectives investigating the incident, which occurred on Sunday, 9 March, on Dovesdale Road, have charged Harris Mohammed, aged 23, of Carr Bottom Avenue, Bradford.
He has been charged with:
- Attempted murder
- Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
Mohammed has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court later this morning (Saturday 15 March).
Ongoing Investigation
The charges follow a detailed investigation by detectives into the shooting incident, which caused significant concern in the local community. Police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured during the discharge but emphasised that their inquiries are continuing.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said:

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information and urge anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
