Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Swindon stabbing

A man’s been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Swindon. Police officers raced to the Grange Park area in the early hours of this morning after a man, in his 20s, presented himself at Great Western Hospital with multiple stab wounds. Crime scenes were put in place on Grindal Drive, Sudeley Way and Grange Park Way. The injured man is recovering in hospital, and is in a stable condition, police say. The 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder remains in custody at Gablecross Police Station as detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the serious assault and are continuing to try to locate further suspects.
